Specifically, the Malta-flagged super ship Celebrity Solstice docked at Ha Long International Cruise Port on December 7, with the vessel bringing with it 2,700 European and American tourists.
According to the schedule, the delegation will pay a visit to Ha Long Bay and spend a lot of time exploring the local cuisine and unique tourist attractions based in the locality before then heading to visit Hanoi and Vinh Bao district in Hai Phong city.
Following this, the international tourists will board the ship and depart Ha Long International Passenger Port at 7:00 p.m. on December 8.
Representatives of Ha Long International Cruise Port stated that the cruise ship will continue to bring large groups of visitors to Ha Long city on December 12 and December 31.
In recent times, many international cruise ships have continuously arrived at Ha Long International Passenger Port, bringing thousands of foreign visitors to Quang Ninh.
This represents a positive sign for the local tourism industry as the locality has exerted great efforts to revive the sector after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Up to now, the number of cruise ships registered to visit Ha Long International Passenger Port next year has reached nearly 60, with over 70,000 passengers coming on several luxury cruise ships such as Mein Schiff 6 and 5, Celebrity Solstice, Noordam, MSC Splendida, and Westerdam.
