Coach Mano Polking has affirmed that CAHN (Hanoi Police FC) is thoroughly prepared and determined to secure the best possible result in the first-leg semifinal against PSM Makassar in the 2024/25 ASEAN Club Championship.

“So far, the ASEAN Club Championship has been going smoothly for CAHN, and I’m very pleased to lead the team into the semifinals,” Polking said at the pre-match press conference ahead of their away match in Indonesia. “The first leg will be tough, but we’ve prepared carefully. The team arrived early in Makassar to acclimate to the weather conditions. Hopefully, we will have a good result tomorrow.”

Assessing their opponent, the CAHN head coach said: “PSM Makassar is a very strong team. They were champions of the Indonesian league two years ago. Recently, the team has evolved and now excels in set-piece situations. But CAHN is confident and ready with the strategies our coaching staff has developed.”

“I think the stadium will be packed with fans. Hopefully, both teams will deliver an exciting match - not just for Makassar supporters, but for football fans across Southeast Asia,” Polking concluded.

Midfielder Quang Hai also spoke at the press conference: “CAHN underwent a very long journey to get here. We’ve prepared well and have thoroughly studied our opponent to aim for the best performance.”

The match between CAHN and PSM Makassar is scheduled for 7:30 PM (local time) on April 2 in Indonesia.
