More than 150,000 people have registered to visit the exhibition as of December 22.

On December 22, the Ministry's Office conveyed the decision of Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Deputy Minister of National Defense and Head of the Exhibition Steering Committee, to extend the original closing date from December 22 to December 23.

Key exhibits and areas extended

The extension applies to several exhibits, including those hosted by the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (featuring shooting simulations and AI technology), the "Achievements in Building the People’s Armed Forces and National Defense" display, cultural spaces, and the food and beverage service areas.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien has directed the Exhibition Organizing Committee to ensure absolute safety and smooth operations for visitors during this extended period.

On the exhibition’s opening day, military leaders, including Senior Lieutenant General Chien, personally inspected the event and motivated the staff. They emphasized accommodating visitors and maintaining high safety standards.

By the morning of December 22, more than 150,000 people had registered to visit the exhibition.

Even before its official opening on December 19, large crowds had gathered at the venue. Organizers responded by allowing early entry to ease congestion.

By midday on December 21, the exhibition had already recorded over 100,000 visitors. On December 22, thousands queued outside the venue from as early as 6 AM, despite the announced opening time of 9 AM.

Ensuring a safe and organized experience

To manage the overwhelming interest, organizers have prepared contingency plans to ensure smooth operations and safety for visitors.

Security forces are in place to guide attendees, ensure orderly queues, and prioritize access for senior citizens and children.

Visitors are required to pre-register at the official website and adhere to regulations, including appropriate attire and conduct while inside the exhibition areas.

Organizers have also prioritized food safety, sanitation, and traffic management to enhance the visitor experience during the extended days of the exhibition.
