According to the draft guidelines, candidates eligible for direct admission or priority admission must submit their documents to universities by June 30 at the latest.

Those accepted through direct admission will receive notification from universities by July 15 and must still register their admission preferences through the MOET system.

Registration and adjustment period: From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register, adjust, and supplement their university admission preferences online without any limit on the number of changes. All preferences are processed through the system, and each candidate will be admitted to the highest-ranked preference among the registered options.

Entrance quality threshold: After the high school graduation exam results are announced, universities will publish their minimum entrance scores. By 5:00 p.m. on July 23, universities offering teacher training and healthcare programs requiring professional licenses must update their quality assurance thresholds based on the exam results.

Application fee submission: From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates must pay the admission application fee online.

Admission confirmation: By 5:30 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates (including those accepted through direct admission) must confirm their enrollment on the MOET system if they intend to pursue their chosen program.

The MOET has directed universities not to start the enrollment process before August 22 and not to complete the confirmation or enrollment process before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, including joint programs with foreign institutions.

Supplementary admissions: From September 1 to December, candidates who wish to participate in additional admission rounds can follow the announcements posted on each university's admission portal.

Candidates who have already been admitted and confirmed enrollment are not eligible to apply for supplementary rounds unless authorized by the university head.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27, with results to be announced on July 16.
