Despite planning to resign, Tran Anh Tu will continue as VFF vice president and VPF chairman, focusing on the development of futsal and the V-League.
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has officially responded after Vice President Tran Anh Tu submitted his resignation, citing personal business commitments.
To further bolster the team’s capabilities, VFF has appointed Yutaka Ikeuchi as a technical supervisor, working alongside Roland and his coaching staff as they prepare for the challenges ahead.
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga on February 26 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) extending their partnership until 2028, aiming to further enhance Vietnam's football landscape.
With this appointment, the VFF hopes that Ikeuchi will collaborate with the U17 coaching staff to develop advanced training methods and achieve successful results at the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025.
The Vietnam Football Federation has reaffirmed its commitment to youth development, adopting a balanced approach to naturalizing players unlike Indonesia’s aggressive strategy.
