The 5th Vietnam-Japan Festival kicked off at the September 23 Park in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 on January 27.

The 1968 Spring Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising broke out on the eve of the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) on January 30-31 across the southern battlefield, especially in Saigon and Hue.

 The Spring Festival 2018 will take place from February 2-8, 2018 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi prior to the traditional New Year (Tet) festival.

 Phan Ke An, one of the leading artists of Viet Nam renowned for lacquer paintings and sketches of President Hồ Chí Minh, passed away in Hanoi on Sunday. He was 95.
