The Vietnamese Government supports the Vietnamese and Australian defence ministries to strengthen practical and sustainable ties to match bilateral strategic partnership.

 Vietnam - Indonesia strategic partnership

 Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on August 23 attended a banquet hosted by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), during which he called on Indonesian enterprises to invest more to Vietnam.

 The third  Senior Officials’ Meeting and Related Meetings (SOM-3)  of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)  is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City from August 18-30.
