The seventh Longbien Marathon will see 15,000 athletes run this weekend in Hanoi. Runners will either run for podium or enjoy their leisure time in four different categories of 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km.
Kellie Angel beat all the men, with an incredible time of 08:08.03.
Hang has been running 42km every day for nearly 300 days as part of her year-long endeavor. Her ultimate aim is to reach 365 days, covering an estimated total distance of 15,330km.
Ethiopian runner Dino Sefir, who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, was the winner in the men’s 42-km competition at the Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race 2023 which was held in the capital on October 15.
