
The Prime Minister recently signed a decision assigning government officials to collaborate with local authorities on implementing economic growth plans.
Their role includes monitoring progress, resolving issues, and proposing solutions to higher authorities to facilitate economic development, job creation, public investment, infrastructure, and social housing.
They will also oversee initiatives such as eliminating substandard housing and implementing national target programs.
High-level government engagement with local economies
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will personally oversee work in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh will work with Hai Phong and Quang Ninh, while Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha will engage with Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Long An. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long will oversee discussions in Kien Giang and Hau Giang.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc will meet with authorities in Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, and Khanh Hoa. Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son will focus on economic issues in Kon Tum and Gia Lai.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung will collaborate with Lao Cai, Phu Tho, and Hoa Binh, while Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh will address concerns in Dong Thap, Ca Mau, and An Giang.
