The library at Quy Nhon University (Binh Dinh), built in the French-Vietnamese architectural style in 1930, is a popular destination for students to study and capture memorable photos.

Quy Nhon University is located in a prime area on An Duong Vuong Street, Quy Nhon City, making it easily accessible to students and visitors.

One of the university's most remarkable structures is its historic library, a key academic resource that not only serves as a center for learning and research but also helps preserve valuable scientific books and documents.

The library consists of two main three-story buildings, measuring 30 meters and 27.5 meters in length, with a width of 12 meters, connected by a central chapel.

This site was originally Quy Nhon Major Seminary, which Quy Nhon University (formerly Quy Nhon Pedagogical University) took over after 1975.

The building was commissioned in 1930 by Bishop Tardieu and designed by Father Dorgeville to replace Dai An Seminary. It was officially opened in 1932.

The central ground-level hall features intricately designed wooden columns and roof beams. The 8-meter-tall wooden pillars and ornately carved trusses highlight the craftsmanship of the era.

On either side, arched corridors provide ventilation, making the structure well-suited to Vietnam’s tropical climate.

The antique wooden doors, set against soothing green walls, not only add to the historic charm of the building but also create a tranquil and inspiring study environment.

Even the library’s staircase retains its original intricate design, further emphasizing its historic significance.

After 1975, when Quy Nhon University took over the seminary’s premises, the building was converted into the university’s library, serving students' academic and research needs.

For decades, this library has been a beloved study and reading spot for students. Additionally, it is open to visitors during business hours, offering a glimpse into one of Quy Nhon’s most beautiful and historic educational landmarks.
